Just made a link to “A Taste of Spain”, from our page about Cadiz.  The site has all sorts of information about Spanish food, something that I find absolutely fascinating.

Before arriving in Spain, I thought that Spanish food was paella.  How wrong I was.  I love the fish dishes, especially Rosada a la Plancha!  OK, being British born, I do like the odd pudding and chips with plenty of gravy (that’s a Manchester upbringing for you!), but I always prefer Spanish food.

Thank you so much, this was a good read. I was actually born in Madrid (I’m not telling what year though!) but moved around europe and finally settled in England when I was a teenager. I dont remember an awful lot of the few years I was in spain, but the smell of spanish food always seems to get me going or something. It’s weird how I dont remember anything except the smells, isn’t it! I even found a website dedicated to spanish recipes, which gave me great delight and thought I really should to share. Anyway, thank you again. I’ll get my son to add your website to my rss thing…
